They did nothing wrong, yet Saugus wants them SHUT DOWN, let alone having rolled them back from 2 to 1.

Re: Kowloon Bob Wong – URGENT – Say NO to the Rollback!

Only in Saugus could something this stupid happen, it's about time the people that are sane living in Suagus stand up and tell the few, morons that proposed this rollback to go o hell.

Re: Route 1 Lavo Ristorante “Tabu” in Saugus – Suspicious Residents Wary of Problems

So, let me get this straight. Hip- Hop and under 21 years old are the reason why all the clubs on Rt 1 are closed?

Re: Route One Saugus News – Santarpios Pizza Coming to ROUTE ONE!

We've been to the East Boston location many times & loved it, even after standing outside in the rain & snow. The new location in Peabody has a long way to go to equal the old one - skimpy servings, sloooow - really slow service. People at 2 tables near us left because of the length of time it took to be served. We went at 3 pm on Friday afternoon & our order came in 2 halves at 3:40 & 4:00 pm. Every table had mistakes in their orders, dirty utensils & plates, and they ran out of red wine (in an Italian restaurant???) They were definitely overwhelmed. We'll give it a month & try them again. One more chance is all they will get. BTW, the food was not as tasty as their original location.

Re: Route 1 News – $2 Million Bel-Aire Diner Revival Project

If the diner is run in the same tradition as New Jersey diners then the diner will be a big success...huge selection, large portions, rich desserts, signature rolls... I can't wait to see and try it out!

Re: Route One Saugus News – Santarpios Pizza Coming to ROUTE ONE!

best pizza in the world. been going there forabout 45 years

Re: Route One Saugus News – Santarpios Pizza Coming to ROUTE ONE!

I am so excited, the best pizza ever and the lamb is to die for. When are they finally going to open??? My only concern is that they will be using Peabody water. Having worked in Peabody and having family who live in Peabody, it is the worst water ever.

Re: Route One News – Fat Cactus Route 1 Lynnfield

Our first time to the Fat Cactus was a truly great experience. Everything from the warm, thin, crisp tortilla chips with fresh homemade salsa to start, chile that was delicious and served with chips and topped with a dolop of sour cream and shredded cheese for an appetizer (delish). Our meals ranged from salads with lime agave glazed shrimp (generous portion) in a taco shell topped with slices of fresh avacado, beef fajita which was refreshingly made with tender, juicy steak strips and a chicken and jack cheese quesadilla which our daughter adored. Atmosphere is very Mexicana and cheerful very playful with good background music for mood. The wait staff all very friendly and accommodating without being obnoxious or pushy. I am not coniseur of Mexican food but do like it very much and we enjoyed every fresh, tasty bite and will definetly return. Prices are decent and drink menu interesting. It is miles better than Qdoba, Border Cafe and others that we have tried in the area. ME GUSTA MUCHO!
